Traffic Pods changing credit structure

Traffic Pods is effectively changing the rules surrounding their surf credits.
The model has been changed to simplify the situation. Formerly there were 2 types of credits: Normal surf credit plus the so-called "pod points" for bonus promotions which were released to members every weekend.
Now both of them are called pod points.

In this update ....

1) We have now simplified the way you earn traffic from surfing ... check it out!
2) The February promotion is almost over ... do you have your entry in the BIG draw?

********************************************

1) Over the past month and a half, we have been listening to our members and have made some changes accordingly. Due to the confusion surrounding the existing model of earning both credits and pod points while surfing, we have decided to revamp the process so that members will now simply receive pod points (a LOT of them) which they can trade for traffic credits in the usual way.

Before we can explain the amount of pod points you will be getting, we first need to inform you of some other minor changes. Currently, members are finding the terminology used for the accounts to be very confusing. The fact that there is currently 2 different reserve accounts seems to be at the root of the problem and so we have changed the names of the accounts to make it easier to understand.

When you log into your account, you will see that we have now changed the name of your Pod points account to "Personal Pod Points" which will help distinguish it from the pod points you get if you are an upgraded member. Under your personal pod points account, you will see that it is now broken down into your "available" balance and your "locked" balance. The "available" balance represents the pod points that you can trade for traffic credits at any time. The "locked" balance (which used to be called your reserve) represents the pod points that will be released to you 50% at a time in the same manner as they were before (more information is available on the site about how to unlock these pod points). For upgraded members, the pod points you get from pod ownership will still be called your "Pod Reserve" and all the same rules will apply.

As indicated above, members will now just be receiving pod points for surfing instead of both credits and pod points. Under this new model, Standard members will receive 8 pod points for EVERY page they surf. This will be split 50/50, with 4 pod points going into your available account and the other 4 pod points being locked. Upgraded members will receive DOUBLE this amount and get 16 pod points for EVERY page surfed (8 pod points going into your available account and the other 8 pod points being locked).

Of course, this is just the base rate for all your surfing and does not include all the bonuses that you get while surfing PLUS the incredible amount you can get from the bonus and super pods. So log into your account and check it all out. You will be amazed at just how much you actually get for surfing!

NOTE: These changes will take effect starting at 1:00pm PST on February 23rd.

2) The February promotion is almost over, but there is still time to get your entry in the BIG draw for over $1500 in CASH and traffic prizes. Remember, the top 10 surfers for each day will get an automatic entry in the draw PLUS we will select another 10 qualified members each day and give them an entry as well. And all it takes to qualify is simply to surf 200 pages in any given day and you could have your name randomly drawn for an entry in the BIG draw at the end of the month. And the best part is that even a single entry in the draw can allow you to win multiple prizes since your name is re-entered for each of the 300 draws that will take place. Good luck!

Sincerely,

Traffic Pods
