New features on TrafficPods
TrafficPods introduces some new features which include yet another simplification of the surf credit model being used.
Also keep a look on the new Bonus Pod Jackpot which stands at $500 at the moment. To claim it, you have to make it through all 20 levels in a Bonus Pod.

1) Since the launch of trafficpods just over 2 months ago, we have received a variety of comments and suggestions from the members. Although nearly all the comments were positive, there was a couple of underlying concerns that members were having. The two concerns that drew our attention were the following. Firstly, members were a bit confused about the whole way that they were being rewarded for their traffic. The concept of earning credits and also pod points was overwhelming and it was difficult to determine the actual surfing ratio. In an attempt to solve this issue, we decided to remove the credits for surfing and simply offer more pod points. This then drew the second concern where some members were now worried that if the trading rate fell, that their rewards for all their efforts would also be reduced.
And so, we have now given great thought to the way members are rewarded and have developed some great changes coupled with some incredible new features. Please continue reading to find out how your benefits are about to get a whole lot better ... without all the confusion (LOL).
2) In just 7 days from now, trafficpods will implement some incredible changes and fantastic new features. Check it out!
-> Instead of earning pod points for surfing, members will now directly earn traffic credits. This means you will get instant access to your traffic and be able to see exactly what you are getting. Standard members will get 2.5 credits per page surfed (2:1 ratio) and PRO members will get 5 credits per page surfed (1:1 ratio).
-> We will be removing the "locked" account for pod points. Instead, all pod points that you earn or find while surfing will go straight into the pod reserve account. This will remove the confusion of having 2 separate "locked" accounts.
-> Standard members will be given the opportunity to own a pod which is required in order to get access to the pod reserve account. At the end of each week, all Standard members will be ranked based on the number of pages surfed for that week and we will award a pod to each of the top 25 members!
-> At the end of every week (just as it is now), all members that own a pod (Standard and PRO) will have 50% of their pod reserve account balance placed into their "available" account. And the best part is that members will be able to either trade these pod points in for extra traffic or they can sell them back to us for cash at a calculated rate.
Well, that's about it in a nutshell. Of course, there are a few other minor changes that will also be implemented in order to properly balance these changes and new features, but we will post these on the site as we get closer to implementing them. Please check your account frequently for updates and more detailed information regarding these new features and changes.
3) So, what do YOU need to do? Actually, very little. Most of the changes require no additional effort or work for you. The only thing that members need to be aware of is their pod points in the various accounts. All pod points in the "available" account will need to be traded for credits BEFORE midnight (PST) on Saturday March 19th. Any pod points left in your available account after midnight will be converted to credits for you automatically at the rate of 30%.
Any pod points in your "locked" account will be placed into your pod reserve account which will become available to you as soon as you get your own pod (PRO members already have their own pod).
From this point forward (starting on March 20th), all pod points that are placed into your "available" account will be able to be traded for credits OR sold for cash!
