Traffic Pods credit update
The Traffic Pods credit system is about to be updated right now. The recent changes promise to give every members more traffic than before!

1) In just a few hours from now, trafficpods will implement some incredible changes and fantastic new features. Once again, here is a list of these changes.
-> Instead of earning pod points for surfing, members will now directly earn traffic credits. This means you will get instant access to your traffic and be able to see exactly what you are getting. Standard members will get 2.5 credits per page surfed (2:1 ratio) and PRO members will get 5 credits per page surfed (1:1 ratio).
-> We will be removing the "locked" account for pod points. Instead, all pod points that you earn or find while surfing will go straight into the pod reserve account. This will remove the confusion of having 2 separate "locked" accounts.
-> Standard members will be given the opportunity to own a pod which is required in order to get access to the pod reserve account. At the end of each week, all Standard members will be ranked based on the number of pages surfed for that week and we will award a pod to each of the top 25 members!
-> At the end of every week (just as it is now), all members that own a pod (Standard and PRO) will have 50% of their pod reserve account balance placed into their "available" account. And the best part is that members will be able to either trade these pod points in for extra traffic or they can sell them back to us for cash at a calculated rate.
-> The prizes for the bonus pods and super pods will be increased. This directly translates into even more traffic for those members that are working the hardest and reaching those bonus and super pods.
2) The changes that are about to take effect will only act to INCREASE your enjoyment and INCREASE your rewards. Members will continue to surf through the trafficpods network just as before, however you will actually be earning traffic credits directly now instead of pod points that you would have to trade in. This means that your earning power is always constant and you are given immediate access to your traffic because nothing is being locked into a reserve account (except for the pod point bonuses).
PLUS, all Standard members will now be given the opportunity to earn a pod of their own which will allow the release of any bonus pod points in the reserve account. Every week, we will award a pod to each of the top 25 surfers among all Standard members. These Standard members will get to keep their pod and earn rewards from it as long as they meet the minimum surfing requirement each week.
So, what is the benefit of upgrading? Well, as an upgraded member you are not required to earn a pod the hard way and you are not subjected to the minimum weekly surfing requirement in order to keep your pod. Furthremore, your earning ratio for surfing is double what a Standard member gets which not only means that you get a LOT MORE traffic, but also that your pod value will increase at a faster rate than that of a Standard member giving you an advantage in the ranking of the pods. And there are a lot of other great benefits of upgrading which you can view by logging in and viewing the membership comparison chart.
3) So, what exactly is going to happen at midnight (PST) tonight? Here is a list of the things you will notice when you log into your account after midnight tonight:
-> All pod points that you had remaining in your "available" account will have been converted to credits for you automatically at the rate of 30%.
-> Any pod points that were in your "locked" account will have been placed into your pod reserve account which will become available to you as soon as you get your own pod (PRO members already have their own pod).
-> From this point forward (starting on March 20th), you will be earning credits for your surfing and all pod points that are placed into your "available" account will be able to be traded for credits OR sold for cash!
